Exposx is a personal darkroom journal for film rolls, exposure triangles, lab scans, and contact sheets.
It is not a lab storefront and not a hardware light meter.

Using Exposx
You are responsible for the notes and media you save. Demo cassettes are examples only.
After Clear All Data, demo content is not seeded again.
Field stills are optional phone references logged on Shoot. Lab scans are pinned on Develop to the same frame numbers.
Compare and Field vs Lab Report need both sides on a frame when you want a true pair.
Exposx Coins
Coins are consumable credits purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Coins are deducted only after the related action succeeds.
There is no Restore Purchases flow for consumable coin packs.
Coins can be used for:
- Contact Sheet export
- Field vs Lab Report PDF
- Roll Sheet PDF
- HD Film Strip export
- Extra cassette slots beyond the free capacity
A welcome balance may be granted on first launch so you can try exports before buying packs.
Permissions
- Camera / Photos — attach field stills and lab scans; save exports you confirm
- Microphone — optional scene sound notes (no speech-to-text)
- Notifications — optional local reminders for full cassettes or lab-return timing
See the Privacy Policy for details.
Common questions
- Where is my data? On this iPhone, inside Exposx. We do not host your rolls.
- I bought coins but balance is wrong. Confirm the purchase completed in the App Store sheet, then reopen Wallet. Email us with the approximate time of purchase.
- Export failed. Check Photos permission for save-to-library exports, then try again — coins are not taken unless the action succeeds.
- Push / pull? Set Box ISO and Rated EI on the cassette. The lab process guide and roll sheet will show what to tell the lab.
